Maybe I just got lucky then. Price drop happened 48 days before sailing, and TA did not indicate that she had to to any pleading/convincing/arguing to make it happen. She just told me that they said yes & refunded the money. Maybe it was because we were concierge or the CM she got on the phone just made a mistake.
Several have posted here that they had the same thing happen to them. It was a regular price drop though, not a GT rate. We knew several people on one of our cruises who got price adjustments based on the rate dropping about a month out from our cruise. Also, you can change your category for the same price it was the day you booked your cruise, since you lock in the prices for every category at that time. You can go down and get a refund, or upgrade at the old price difference.
