If you were trapped in EPCOT, where would you sleep?

I love this question! It reminds me of the book From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

My thoughts exactly. I loved that book when I read it as a kid. good times.

As for epcot and being an adult... oh I would still be loving that. but I don't know if I can pick just one spot for just one night. :happytv:

I don't think I'd sleep. I would just spend the night wandering around Epcot and spending time in some of my favorite spots. I'd walk around Future World and enjoy the light-up sidewalks. There's something about those sidewalks that make me want to twirl and skip and jump. I've never done it because I'd look like a weirdo but I'd do it I were stuck in Epcot overnight.

Then I'd go over to World Showcase and spend time in my favorite pavilions. I'd have a margarita in Mexico, hang out in that little fishing village at the end of Maelstrom, talk a walk around the UK pavilion and talk to whoever is with me in my silly, fake English accent, sit at one of the tables by the bakery in France and read a book, and sit by the fountain in Morocco. If there was time, I'd spend time in the other pavilions, too.

But if I had to sleep, I think it'd be in the little fishing village in Maelstrom. It really is one of my favorite spots in Epcot.

For some reason I love the smell of Rome burning :lmao:

Get you some lapsang souchong tea... smells just like the Rome burning scene and (bonus!) the forest fire on Kali River Rapids...!

I'd sleep with the monks (or next to them, I mean!) on Spaceship Earth...the sleeping monk always makes me tired!

I would sleep in the Wonders of Life Pavillion. Kickin it old school....

I always thought the little cottage in Canada would be the perfect place to stay all night in Epcot! :thumbsup2

After I drank tons of soda in Club Cool :) And ate my fill of Le Cellier food (Soup, Filet, Mashed Potatoes, and Chocolate Cake) I would curl up on a nice long bench in Coral Reef Moving the table of course so I can see the aquarium all night when I wake up :) AHHH So peaceful.

I've always wanted to see what's backstage at the American Gardens Theatre. Maybe there's a nice VIP lounge to snooze in.

Great question! I wouldn't sleep. I'd call a bunch of people and open up the pub in the UK showcase.

I suppose if things got too crazy, I might climb to the top of the Mayan temple for a quick nap. But then straight back to the pub.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Either by the river in the Mexico temple, or in Spaceship Earth in the fall of rome scene.

I'd head for Mexico.

Grab a few ponchos and float around in one of those canoes with a big Mexican hat over my face. :cloud9:

Great question. I always think about this when we ride Living with the Land. The little farm house with the dog on the front porch and the chickens and goats in the front yard.

I always turn to DH and say "Can't we just move in there?" So I would make that my home. After robbing the Paris Pavillion for some croissants and bottles of champagne.

In the Twinings Tea Cottage front of the UK pavilion.

There is that nice fireplace in there, so I would light a fire to keep nice and warm and toasty. I could brew up some good tea over the fire, or maybe pop some popcorn. In the morning I could sit out in the UK gardens and watch the sunrise
