Since it's been hot I'd want to go somewhere nice and cool. And with great atmosphere. I would choose Storyteller's Cafe and order their Spaghetti and meat sauce. I've had it 3 or 4 times and it never disappoints.

Plus, they have those wonderful corn bread muffins. So yummy!

Yep!! With some gumbo in a bread bowl, mint julep, and fritters.

In DCA, the pork at Flo's with coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Or the Chili Cone Carne at The Cozy Cone and a Red's Apple Freeze.

In DCA I'd do the soup in a bowl form PWC. Or e corn chowder from Storytellers-yum!

Carnation Cafe! Right on main street. That's a great pick. Chef Oscar's Loaded Baked Potato Soup is so incredible. Great sandwiches too.
