If you went in with no bag

When I am kid-less, no bag. I wear sparkleskirts or shorts with pockets that hold my phone, card-holder for ID/health insurance/back-up CC/discount card or coupon/cash, and a lip balm. Hubs brings his entire wallet, phone, and travel sunscreen (usually stick form). We are lucky to be healthy without the need for medications or epi-pens or special dietary stuff.

I wondered about this too. I use to wear glasses full time, and never took them off, even on RnR. But Thunder Mtn does say "Hang on to yer hat and glasses...."

I ended up buying some plain glasses cord. If I take my glasses on and off too much my eyes start crossing. With the cord I can leave them on and not worry about losing them.

I have to have reading glasses (bi-focals in my sunglasses) and I wear mine around my neck. Normally when I go on a ride I'll just hang the necklace inside my shirt.

I have never taken a bag and could not see carrying one around for 8-12 hours a day while walking. I have a very small, almost wallet-sized, waist pouch that holds my phone, cards, cash with enough space to put my sunglasses in when not in use. I also have a camera case with extra room in it that hangs around my neck. I would not want the hindrance of looking after a bag of any sort while doing the parks - lol I have a hard enough time keeping tabs on a purse on any given day, the excitement and rush of WDW would certainly have me leaving my bag behind more often than not.

I have read that people who wear cargo shorts are more likely to have to go through the metal detectors. DH wears them and seems to get "randomly" picked every time. I can't think of any other reason he would be picked. It didn't seem to be related to any racial/ethnic profiling; he's a typical looking white guy with no facial hair. He got to the point where he quit putting stuff in his pockets and kept it in the bag to save time at the entrance.

We reapply sunscreen. I cannot stand having my phone in my pocket and will need it. Have ponchos. Bring water. I usually use a waist pack because its cooler.

I use a small bag, but really find it difficult to go without one. I have to bring an asthma inhaler and Epi-Pen along with other basics like some cash, DVC card, a few Advil or an equivalent, etc. But I try to compartmentalize by using zip-top bags that are easy for security to remove so they don't have to dig around things.

The best park days are the days you don't lug things around with bags. I wear my MB and bring my wallet with cash and credit cards. I might carry gum or some light snack. I hate carry things around the parks.

If possible, we go bagless, but we vary what we carry based on our needs.

What to carry varies by the weather and how long we plan to be away from the room. If we return to the room mid-afternoon, we drop off what we don't need, or add what we do (jackets).

Phones, ID, cash, cc, insurance cards, discount cards, park admission, car keys, are generally the essentials in the parks. Low chance of rain = plastic poncho in our pocket. High chance of rain/cold = jackets. Jackets usually = bag, and a few extra items.

I'll add: At Universal, we usually wear a lanyard with our Express Pass. At US, they don't allow bags on many rides, so it pays to go bagless. Otherwise, you have to stow your stuff in the lockers.

I went bagless for the first time ever this summer. It was freeing! LOL Anyway, I was a bit apprehensive about carrying a credit card w/o a bag. So no credit card. Fast forward-into La Cava and the magic band system is not working. I do have an applewatch/apple pay and that worked just fine. So if you have one of those, skip the physical card

Your more comfortable carrying your credit card in a bag vs your shorts/pants pocket?

Without a bag I carry my phone, credit card, ID (sometimes the magic band malfunctions and they ask for ID to confirm who you are...if you dont have ID, your screwed!), tiny bottle of sunscreen, some cash,....thats about it.

MB, phone in front pocket, wristlet around my wrist with ID, credit card, small amount of cash. Small bottle of sunscreen for reapplications in the other front pocket. My daughter wears an athletic strap on her glasses at theme parks so she never has to take them off, I either wear a strap or don't bother with my glasses (I'm generally fine without them as long as I'm not driving or reading or whatever.)

If it rains, I'll duck in somewhere or get wet. We took ponchos to WDW the first time and never needed them, and it's never rained on any subsequent trip, other than it raining for like five minutes while were waiting for the Friendship boats in April of 2012. We don't go in the summer, though.

I took a bag to Universal, but we went in January and we were dealing with layers of clothing that went on and off. Plus refillable cups, etc etc.

As long as the weather allows, I always go bagless. I have my phone in one pocket and a coin purse (the kind sold at Mitsukoshi at EPCOT) that fits cash, cards (ID, insurance, credit) and a few other small essentials. The no bag line is nearly always faster than going through bag check. DH gets pulled for special screening every once in a while, but that could happen anywhere.

If it's hot and DH is with me, we usually put sunscreen and a small drawstring bag in his shorts pockets and carry a couple of water bottles in our hands. We've always been waved through the no bag line with those.

If it's in summer and I'm by myself, I'm stuck in the bag line.

I really don't care about going through bag check! I don't lug around a bag that I can leave sitting somewhere or causes me neck, shoulder or back pain. My waist pack and camera case hung around my neck will not be burdens to me.

Yes, a dude. With cargo shorts. Spread out over a bunch of pockets, it didnt seem to be much of a problem.

We go bagless. I always wear cargo shorts so I just carry my phone, some extra sunscreen and some hand sanitizer (so many germs ) and that's it.

I usually wear cargo shorts when vacationing, but that utilikilt sounds like a better option... Would I look ridiculous in one (being female?)
