We were frustrated the first couple of nights but by the end of the trip we were laughing at ourselves. We tried to leave Orlando around 4pm Firday afternoon (from SeaWorld) and couldn't find a I-4-east on ramp. We ended up going through endless toll boths...turning around and paying the same toll again....stuck in huge toll booth trafic jams....etc....Tell me Feralpeg...is it easy to get lost...or are we total goofs?
Don't feel bad. When I first moved to Orlando, I was totally confused. Every time I went to the Florida Mall, on the way home, I'd end up at Lockheed Martin's security gate. I was afraid they were going to think I was some sort of terrorist casing the joint.
I used to get lost on WDW property. Now, it seems very odd to me. I know WDW roads so well.
It just takes practice!
If it makes you feel better, Sea World is a challenge. There is no on ramp to I-4 right by Sea World. You have to drive a ways to get to it. I'm sure you are not the only one to get lost trying to find your way back.
