Technical legal question here: Can Nader have that website removed on the grounds that it falsely implies he's endorsing Obama?

Without knowing the law but seeing what has happened in the past with celebrities and websites connected to them by name only, I doubt it. Some had sued and ultimately had the decision go in their favor, but it would take months for Nader to bring a lawsuit around, and by then the election would be over.

Are there still people who would believe Nader would support either one of them though? Nader supports Nader & always has!

Well, first of all, I am not "upset". It is just more of the same Obama type campaign, which they certainly may have their hand in. The website that you provided obviously doesn't go to any presidential candidate but someone who 'bought" it. And no, it didn't even send me off to the shallow end.

Seeing that this website has been owned by the same person since June of 2004, it's more than likely a cybersquatter trying to make a buck by selling the domain name to Ralph Nader for a profit for his potential 2008 run.... you know, a capitalist. That supports Obama and once he realized he had a useless domain name, he pointed it to barackobama.com

I personally have several of my unused domain names pointing to barackobama.com, and it's perfectly legal. For the record, I buy domain names when I get an idea for a website, or to hold for a client. However, sometimes the website idea doesn't work, or the client doesn't want the domain name, and I'm stuck with a useless domain. This is at least putting it to good use.

I think it's wrong to have a domain name that implies it's something that it's not. I always side with the celebs who sue to get someone to stop using his or her name... but it never seems to work out in the celeb's favor. In this case, I doubt that it's going to affect anything. But I still think it's wrong.
