If you stayed off site, did you make use of your splash pool?

For those of you that have rented in Windsor hills or other resorts, if you had the small splash pool, did you make use of it? Did you find it worth the time to pay to have it heated in the winter months?

We really only need a 2 bedroom, as it is myself, dh, and 2 small kids. But, in order to get the pool, it looks like we have to go with 3 brs.

Just trying to decide if it is worth the extra $$ to pay for a bigger place with unused bedroom, just to get the pool.

The first year we rent DS was 3. We had every intention of using the pool but never did. Last year (DS4)we used the pool, but my nephew was with us. The boys wanted to play and DS knew how to swim by then. I think it will probably depend on how old your kids are and how much they like to swim.:)

That is kind of what I am worried about. We are going in December, and the warmest parts of the day, we will be in the parks. Our girls are only 1 & 3, and are used to being in bed by 8... so I'm not sure we'll get a lot of use out of one.
Thanks for helping!

with the girls those ages, I would say you probably will not use the splash pool. If they were much older then yes. When we went to Indian Creek in '04 our group of kids were 3, 8, 12, 15, 4 yrs old and yes we did use our pool. But they were older. HTH.
