If you only had one night, where would it be?

Ok,

So we are doing 7 nights at the WL followed by a 7 night DCL Western Carribbean. Just discovered that our flight connections will not marry up with the transfer times so looking where to spend one final night after the cruise. I dont want to waste it at some random place. This will be our final night in Disney, and in fact the US and do not know when we will have a chance to return and its a once in a lifetime trip for our family.
Where would you spend your magical final night?

Cheers,

If the next night will be spent at WL, that's where I'd stay. The less up-and-moving you have to do, the better. :)

But if you want to try somewhere else, I vote Beach Club or Polynesian....because they're my favorites.

Have a great trip!

I am reading WL, then cruise, then one night....

I vote BC/YC. Very different from WL. You should be able to get there fairly quickly from cruise ship with time to enjoy lunch and a few hours of the SAB swim area. I'd make an ADR for a nice dinner in resort or Boardwalk, then pull up some lounges on the beach to enjoy what view I could of the Illuminations. Still time for an ice cream sundae after at Beaches and Cream. If time in the morning maybe a character breakfast at Cape May Cafe before I flew off.

Thanks for the tips, yes Hopperfan we are doing 7 nights WL,7 night cruise and 1 night yet to be determined. I was thinking BC maybe as there seems to be a lot to do in that area. Either that or maybe 1 night AKL in a Savannah room. Still very open to suggestions.:dance3:

BWI, Yacht Club or Beach Club. I think it would be very nice to spend one night at the Boardwalk after your cruise.

Sounds like a nice trip. Have fun!

My original thought was AKL as I would love to have a savannah view someday and I have talked to folks who love it. If you're looking to be more central to things, my next choice would be BC/YC. There's so much going on in that area and you'll be closer to food, entertainment, etc. It's a lovely resort.

My vote is YC/BC. There is so much to do in that area. It is a favorite of ours.

I suggest AKL and a Savannah View. We stayed there a few weeks ago for the first time and LOVED it!

Have a great trip! Sounds like a good one.

I think I'd vote for the Polynesian. I've never stayed there, but it's my dream to stay there someday. Anyway, you could (as a previous poster suggested) have dinner over at the Contemporary at the California Grill and watch Wishes from the observation deck. Or, you could have dinner at the Luau at the Polynesian. You could take a ride around the monorail to see the Magic Kingdom again before you leave and even switch to the Epcot monorail and take a ride around. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll be sorry to leave the next day.

AKL Concierge, if you get it could it to match up with a day the Sunrise Safari is offered. Otherwise, prolly the Poly.

If you are not going to go to the parks, but want one last experience at Disney, I would suggest Beach Club.

After checking in, go to Beaches and Cream for an early lunch (and if you are up to it get the "Kitchen Sink", it is a lot of fun to share with the family. Then go to Downtown Disney for some shopping. Then when you get back to Beach Club, rent some boats (ages 12 and up can drive them). Take the boats down to MGM, it is a fun ride.

Then go back and hang out at Storm Along Bay (the pool at Beach Club) for the rest of the day until dinner. For dinner, go over to Spoodles on the Boardwalk, and then stroll along that area in the evening to enjoy the night entertainers.

To end the evening, go over the the bridge between Boardwalk and Epcot and watch the fireworks.

Check out some videos on the Travel Channel website:

Look at the one that says Disney's Beaches and Cream Shop for a video of them making the Kitchen Sink.

The one that says Yacht Club has some pictures of the pool (Yacht Club is next to Beach Club and shares the pool).

Then there is one that says Beach Club and you can see the resort.
