If you love Port Orleans, do not go and see the Skeleton Key. Scarrrryyyy. No way can I go back to Port Orleans now, scarryyyy.

Skelton Key is a movie. I'm assuming it's in New Orleans or something? :confused3

It got a terrible review in the paper....was it any good?

A movie that takes place in New Orleans

Plot Outline: A young woman helping care for an invalid in New Orleans finds herself caught in the middle of morbid going-ons centered around a group of Voodoo practitioners.

The movie takes place in and outside New Orleans. The house at the center of the story is one of those big white antibellium ones that the POR mansions are modeled after.

O. K., I know I am going off topic here - but this is what I do not like about Hollywood. Always misrepresenting New Orleans as a big voodoo place where people speak with a very very slow southern drawl. :confused3

And Stacy 6552 was correct - the movie actually takes place in an antebellum home outside of New Orleans - and yes it got bad reviews.

Stacy - please come back - I promise it is not really like that down here! ;)

Just stay in the AB section then, nothin' about Tom Sawyer like surroundings in the scary movie is there? ;)

Come back? Where? New Orleans, the real one? I'm still working on the idea of going back the PO at WDW and you want me to go to the real place? OH no no no nooooo. Uh uh. No way. Nope. No more dreaming of the big white house with the columns and a tree lined drive. Not anymore.
