If you liked Narcoossee...

I'd have to agree with you.
Being a Massachusetts person myself, I've eaten my share of lobsters, but I thought the one at Norcoossee's was excellent. I eat it once every trip.
They also have the best decaf coffee that they serve in press pots.

It was as good as local lobster...I think it was very close to 2 pounds.

We will be enjoying this Sept 24 :)
We are neighbors...I live about 10 minutes from The Hilltop Steakhouse.

Oh and Vettegirl is right....The almond cheesecake is very good!

It seems like the lobster is the dish to order at Narcoosee's. They give you the whole lobster? I've only eaten lobster tail before, so have any of you eaten the whole lobster, tail, claws and body? :confused3

I got the Maine Lobster and my son got the scallops, I would go back again in a heartbeat, yes it is $$$$ but with the DDP worth 2 table settings, not sure if out of pocket is worth it, I can't remember what the bill came out to:thumbsup2

They kind of bring you a whole lobster. The tail is split and the claws are cracked. The head and body are just the shell and the shell is pretty much just there for decoration. It was my first time having claw meat and it was delicious!

DH had the crab cakes appetizer, surf & turf, and a large bowl of fresh mixed berries with homemade whipped cream for dessert - it was all delicious.

I had the shrimp & crab chowder appetizer, crab crusted flounder (now it's halibut), and in January they had a pecan pie - also delicious!

I had the Tanglewood Farms Chicken Breast with mashed potatoes, spinach, and bacon vinaigrette. I didn't like it - I LOVED it.

The whole maine lobster and the almond cheesecake are out of this world! :cloud9:

This is what my husband had and he said it may have been the best thing he has ever ate!!
I had the Vegetable dish and it was FABULOUS! I cannot say enough good things about Narcoosees.

Enjoy!!!

I ordered the whole Maine lobster and it was divine! The shrimp and crab chowder appetizer was great, so were the duck confit spring rolls, also the steamed mussel appetizer was HUGE and succulent. My husbands Filet with Choron sauce was super good as well. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

OH! And the almond crusted cheesecake was possibly THE best dessert of the trip!

I had the filet mignon and it was very good - cooked and seasoned well. But, I still dream about the almond chessecake - it is to die for!!!!!

I've gotten the lobster and the chicken. Both excellent. I also agree with the pp that the almond crusted cheesecake is amazing!!! :worship:
