I have an easy recipe for you.

Wash green grapes (purple and red will not taste right) and dry the completely.

Dip washed grapes (I used a tooth pick) in melted white chocolate. If grapes are wet, the chocolate will not stick.

Then, roll the grape in chopped Spanish Peanuts (not dry roasted).

Set on a cookie sheet to harden.

Store in the refrigerator.

They taste just like taffy apples and it's pretty quick to make.

I'm off to make some for a birthday party that we're going to later this afternoon. :stir:

THANK YOU!!! for posting this. I had them at a party a couple of weeks ago, knew my family would enjoy them and have been searching for a recipe ever since with no luck.

What a lucky coincidence!

Thanks for the recipe! It sounds delicious. These are what I'm making for Christmas Eve.

Ok, I've made two big batches. The first one, I dipped them completely in chocolate and rolled them in the nuts. My DD said that it tasted too nutty and that you could barely taste the grape.

The second one, I dipped about 2/3 - 3/4 in chocolate and nuts. She said these are much better and couldn't stop eating them. This is coming from someone that's not a big fan or either green grapes or white chocolate but loves taffy apples.

I had to take them from her or there won't be any left to bring to the party. ;)

I wonder if you could do this with caramel.

Probably, but I would think that it would be messy. The white chocolate hardens pretty quickly and then you can pop them off the tray (I use a cookie sheet). I'm going to serve them with a jar of toothpicks since it's a party but otherwise you can pick them up and not get sticky.

The other thing that I forgot to say is that you need to put the whole thing in your mouth at once. If you try to bite or cut it, the out shell cracks off and all you have left is a green grape. ;)

Sounds yummo!!!! Mmmmmmm...

This one is like a caramel apple too! So delish...you won't be able to stop!!!!

Base:
Mix a brick of cream cheese (light worked fine for me) with about a half a
cup of icing sugar (or to taste) and a teaspoon or two of vanilla extract.
Soften the cream cheese to hand mix, or use a mixer.

Middle Layer:
Buy the large container of caramel fruit dip (not the sundae caramel).
Spread it on top of the base.

Top:
Sprinkle Skor pieces on top, or break up a few Skor Bars. (I like Skor bars best then Skor pieces sprinkled to fill in the holes)

Cut up green apples (might want to toss them in lemon juice so they don't
brown). I usually stick them around the edges of the dip's plate/tray. This also tastes amazing with strawberries!

I'll have to try that.

Is icing sugar different than regular sugar? :confused3

icing sugar is powdered sugar (I think?)

Hmmm....it might be powdered sugar stateside? Would be the kind that you use to make icing..it is powdered not granular. We have powdered sugar here--but it is very fine granulated sugar not the same as icing sugar:confused3

You want it to mix smoothly..

Sounds like our powdered sugar.
