Then you'll like this! Saw this on "Paula's Home Cooking" this morning, OMG YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!!!!!!! We're going to try making it, maybe today!!::yes::

Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce

2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 can fruit cocktail (undrained)
2 eggs, beaten
1 (9-ounce) box raisins
1 pinch salt
1 or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Butter Rum Sauce, recipe follows

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cube donuts into a large bowl. Pour other ingredients on top of donuts and let soak for a few minutes. Mix all ingredients together until donuts have soaked up the liquid as much as possible.

Bake for about 1 hour until center has jelled. Top with Butter Rum Sauce.

Butter Rum Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 pound box confectioners' sugar
Rum, to taste
Melt butter and slowly stir in confectioners' sugar. Add rum and heat until bubbly. Pour over each serving of Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding.

I would need THREE dozen donuts........ 1 dozen just for eatin'!!!! LOL :teeth:

Sounds yummy --- but on the other hand -- everything she makes sounds yummy! :D

I saw this episode this morning.... I could hardly belive my eyes! Bread pudding made out of Krispy Kreme's!!! I'd have to go to Curves 8 days a week! LOL:wave2:

I know, talk about UNhealthy!!! LOL!!!

Anyway, we made it and it is VERY sweet. Yummy, but too sweet for us. After a few bites I was done! We only made a half-batch of it, thankfully.

And her Gorilla Bread recipe. Once of the supervisors in my department starts clamoring for it about every 3 weeks. I usually make him wait another 2 before I actually make it, though. :teeth:

You can also use Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls to make Bread Pudding. Very yummy!!!!

I love the recipes on Paula's Home Cooking. I don't understand why she doesn't weigh 500 lbs with all those rich and delicious desserts she makes. My hips get bigger just watching the show!

Oh I just love Paula Deen. I want to cook everything she makes. :teeth: This one didn't sound good when I read it originally before the show aired because of the raisins but she mentioned in the episode you don't have to use them so maybe I'll give it a try sometime. Her cookbooks are great as well. Everything I've made from them has been just wonderful. Our favorite right now is the Turtle Cake. :faint: Oh my gosh just wonderful. I'm making the gooey butter cakes next weekend for a party so I'm glad to hear that others like them as well. ::yes::

That sounds so good. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :)
