If you inherited 3 Million dollars what would you do?

Pay bills, buy a nice house with a swimming pool, new car, help family and close friends. Donate money to charity and invest some too. My daughter would love a horse. (What girl around 9-10 wouldn't?) Put some money away for DD's college, she has wanted to be a vet since she was 5 (called it an animal doctor then haha..hmm she still does, might be a good sign that she one day will?

Do the Disney Cruise for 7 days and then stay at the world in concierge for the whole immidiate family for as long as we'd like to stay LOL

Wonder if 3 - 4 weeks would be enough to make you homesick?

Maybe it wouldn't feel the same way without the struggle/enjoyment with saving money, making good deals etc, I wonder...

How could I leave off a vacation? Of course I would have to take a nice long vacation to WDW and stay at some of the Deluxe resorts.

I just love this thread!

1. Sell my house and buy a little bigger one with a pool and furnish it.

2. Fully fund college for 2 DDs.

3. Let my DH quit work and be a stay at home dad.

4. Give to church and another charity or two.

5. Go to WDW for 2 weeks and stay deluxe concg. and 7 day disney cruise.

6. Buy a new minivan and DH a new car.

7. Maybe have another child.

8. Save the rest.

Pay off the morgage and buy a 5th wheel. Give some money to relatives (the ones I like) and friends (who I think more of relatives) AND GO TO DISNEYWORLD

I don't think you pay taxes on money you inherit. The estate pays taxes prior to any distribution of its assets. So you have $1.2 million more to invest!
