I have been watching flights for September for the last two months, Air Canada and West Jet were 460 rt After fooling around on Air Canadas Vacation website i found the same slights for 410 rt. I am not sure why the vacation website is cheaper than the actual air canada site but I was very happy with the $100 savings. Hope this helps someone.

Yes, ACV is often lower.

What city is it from? I hate flying AC, but for that price I may suck it up. I fly from Vancouver. So I usually go with Alaska. Best flights, and don't have to go get luggage and recheck twice. Biggest PITA ever having to get off plane in Toronto, pick up luggage from carousel and go thru customs, then re check luggage before going to connection.
One time AC cancelled connection mid trip. I was ticketed thru in Vancouver, get off at Toronto, look at board and says Cancelled ugh. Almost had to overnight in Toronto and loose a vacay day.
