If you have stayed at BWV in both

Okay I must have missed reading something. (New baby so I've probably missed A LOT over the last half a year or so). Have the points been split between pool view, boardwalk view, etc? I know before it was preferred or standard and the boardwalk view was up to chance (We never got it by the way but did still have wonderful views.)

They have divided the preferred view into 2 categories: Preferred - Boardwalk and Preferred - Garden/Pool. The points are still the same but you reserve one or the other up front. This is because so many people were requesting Boardwalk view and few got it, so this avoids disappointment by knowing up front whether you have it or not. This change came around the same time as their new "room ready" policy where rooms are not preassigned but are assigned at the front desk when you arrive. They would have had a mess with the boardwalk view because people would have been showing up early to get them or keep coming back to the front desk all day to see if one opened up.
