If you have rented a house/ condo I would love for you to pass me some suggestions or even pm me with the link of the house. Thanks so much!!!!

What size home are you looking for? Most of the developments have condos, townhouses and pool villas ranging from 4-7 bedrooms. I can recommend several homes we have used but they may not be close to the size range you are looking at.

I've used VRBO and think it's a great site. I only book houses that accept credit cards (for my protection in case there is a problem). I know there are lots of great owners who don't take them, but it cuts down on my concerns.

I advertise on there, but never had a booking from the site!!There are lots and lots of homes on there - happy hunting,

Lynn :thumbsup2

Thank you all for the help! I am looking for a 2-3 bedroom. Alos how do you varify that it is true? :confused3

Talk to the owner and ask questions. I am sure they will give you some information to make you feel at ease.

I have never had anyone not believe that I own the home we have. I guess because I have either talked with them in person or answered all thier questions through the email. I ususally have a more personal touch with my guests, maybe that helps.
If you have a nervous or bad feeling about an Owner, then I would listen to your instinct, or contact the site you found the home on and ask them for help.

I know once you talk to the owner of a home you like. You will be more than happy with your decision to rent a home.

Karen you are right on the money.

I can not stress enough to ask all the questions you have. Not one single question should remain by the time you are ready to sign any lease. It is important that you are as comfortable with the owner as they are with you.

Deb,
Thanks so much! I just know the first time I rented a home the owner was great to work with. I had lots of questions and she answered them all. I have tried to do the same with people. I know sometimes its overwhelming for people when picking a home, so all you can do is ask questions and make sure you feel good about the home you pick.
Thanks

you can try springvacationrentals also. They have some nice homes to choose. Thanks

Ironically I've only used vrbo.com for rentals in other area's of the country (smokey mtns and beachfront). We have rented villas in WDW on other sites, direct from the owners though. Just be sure to get a rental contract that outlines all the terms and conditions of the rental. Especially if a security deposit is involved.
"House Hunting" for that perfect rental villa can be fun!! Don't let all the options overwhelm you.
