can you go to MK during the day and just stay for the party? I asked this on the MVMCP boards, but with no luck, just thought I would try here. TIA
Laura

yes. ok, i tried to post just the word yes and it told me that my message had to be 5 or more characters. So, I will say it again. Yes.

Really? I called and talked to a CM and the night we're going to MVMCP it starts at 7 p.m. and the park closes at 6 p.m. She told me that unless you are in a restaraunt eating that the park is technically closed and that all of the rides will not be in operation during that hour. But it wouldn't be the first time I got wrong info, but now I'm confused :confused3 .

Hi!
We just went to the party last night(and we had a great time!). We stayed at the park, sat at a table and had some icecream and people watched. Yes, no rides were going, but we hung out on Main Street! We got our wristbands around 5pm. We went to the Emporium on Main Street (to get MVMCP tshirts) when they opened at 7 pm.
Have a great time!

Yes you can go to the MK on the day of your MVMCP. You will need both a ticket for entry into the park for the day and around 4 pm you should be able to take you MVMCP ticket and exchange it for a wristband. Whe the park closes at 6 you will be asked to go to a certain area of the MK and wait until 7 while all others without a wristband will be asked to leave. There will not be any rides open to my knowledge, but not to sure about the shops on main street. I would say not due to the fact that they will not want any one having a reason to stay in the park unless they are attending the party.

It seems to be a bit of a mystery.. Some MNSSHP goers reported that some attractions, in one case Space Mountain, kept on going, and going after 6 (for those who happened to be eating in tomorrowland at 6).

For us, they moved everyone to Frontierland and Liberty Square, where most attractions were open between 6 and 7. Tomorrowland may have also have been "open", but they had pleanty of CMs making sure we headed the other way.

Yes, the park closes at 6:00 and reopens at 7:00 but if you have a ticket to the party they do not kick you out. Last year Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas show began at 6:45. This is in the Galaxy Theater. We went to this last year at by 6:30 it was standing room only. I would suggest heading over there early and catching this show. This way when the party starts you will already have one thing already done. I believe after this we went over to the castle for the show there. I believe this starts at 7:00 so we missed the beginning. I think the Twas the Night Before Christmas show lasts almost 30 minutes.

I beieve the shops on Main Street are closed.

Linda
