If you have asthma please read this.

It's amazing to see how many young children have asthma on here. Wow!

My 12 yr old DS has it too and he keeps it under control with Singulair and if it's real bad, he uses his Albuterol inhaler or the Nebuelizer (sp?).

He's been pretty fortunate with his attacks. He usually only has them when the weather changes from cold to warm or warm to cold. You would think the hockey would really bother him but it doesn't unless he's already having symptons.

Thanks for the info.

I've been frustrated with the Advair. Yes, it seems to work pretty well, but to expect me to inhale deeply is not a reasonable request. I do not have the lung strength to do it. In combination with the flonase to clear the sinuses and whatever allergy med du jour, I'm getting by. I have three other inhalers that have minimal success, and albuterol doesn't seem to 'rescue' me. Fortunately, my last attack was over a year ago.

Vanceril has the new propellant? Hopefully, this means Vancenase is available that way. I've been meaning to go back to the doctor and as for Vancenase again...had great success with it.

I worry about these going off insurance. My Imitrex did on march 1st and now two shots set me back a pretty penny.
