Cancelling a room reservation has no impact on ADRs.

I was getting frustrated with the futility of getting ADRs for BOG. It seems that it's impossible to get it at 180 days, and the only way to get it is nearer the 180 + 10 days.

I was getting frustrated with the futility of getting ADRs for BOG. It seems that it's impossible to get it at 180 days, and the only way to get it is nearer the 180 + 10 days.

You really have to book those online right at 6 am Eastern if you want BOG. I've been "practicing" - have nearly always found some times to choose at that time at 180 days. They do disappear very quickly, though.

I don't actually book anything, just look to see if I could.
