...please whisper the name "Parker" to God. Parker is 14 months old and is a member of the Children's Ministry at our church (I'm the Children's Minister). He was diagnosed with Leukemia last night. His medical team will be running tests today to determine what type of Leukemia he has and what they must do next.

Thank you so much for lifting Parker up.

Blessings,
Deni

Prayers and thoughts with Parker and his family.

Yes, I've said a prayer for Parker, his family and the medical team!

Thank you so much for the prayers for Parker, his family, and his medical team. They found out today that he has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and the med team is planning to do bone marrow test, spinal tap & put central line in today if possible. Parker will start chemo today or tomorrow.

Sweet Parker's news suddenly makes my problems seem so small and unimportant.

Thank you so much,
Deni

We are praying for little Parker:goodvibes

I have a friend who had childhood Lukemia and not only did she survive, she thrived and is now a Dr. who graduated for University of Chicago.:hug:

Thank you all so much for the prayers for Parker. What a blessing.

...thank you for sharing about your friend...what an encouragement! How amazing it is that she is now a doctor. :)

Isn't it amazing how kids put things in perspective..especially when they're sick??? I will definitely say prayers and keep on saying prayers!!! And you're so right Deni...problems like these makes our problems so silly and stupid looking!!! God bless you for what you do as well!!!

Thank you so much for your prayers!

Parker's mom said this yesterday... "Parker update - blast cells (leukemic cells) went from 82 on Friday to 51 on Sat. Praise the Lord! Hoping they will continue to go down. Hemoglobin and platelets low too but not too low yet. Getting next major chemo drug on Tuesday. He has had some rough times but also some giggling, happy times too. Thanks to everyone for prayers and concerns".

Parker's BLAST cells were down even more today...from 51 to 22. How exciting.

I know that a long road is ahead of Parker. The family is so very grateful for all the support they are receiving. Thank you.

Blessings,
Deni
