What would you do?:confused3 it will be July and 5 people. 1 person will more then likely not ride and rides?:confused3 How would you plan your day to maximize your day. I know it will be very warm and muggy. I am just looking at what is the "must ride/do" things at each park. I know it would be best if we went 3 days, just don't want to give up anymore WDW time.:rolleyes1

Thanks for your information,

If you are staying onsite which gives you the express pass for free, then you will have no issues seeing everything at both parks in two days. The same also applies if you are thinking about purchasing the express pass while there..however with 5 people it might be cheaper to buy one night at the hotel which gives you TWO days of express (check in and check out day).

If you are NOT going to buy express or stay at the hotel, you will have a harder time to see everything, but you will have enough time to see all the best stuff.

For IOA, you need to ride:

Spiderman
Popeye
Dudley Do Right
Jurrasic Park
The whole HP area

If you like Rollercoasters or big thrills, then ride Hulk and Dr. Doom.

For the Studios, you need to ride:

Mummy
Disaster
Jaws
MIB
Simpsons
T2-3D
Shrek

If you like rollcercoaster, then ride Rip Ride Rockit.

Of course this is not the whole list of rides for both parks, but some of the must do rides. If you have express, you will be able to do everything at both parks without issues.

I just pick a random night near the end of July and one night hotel stay would be $294. This would give you express for both days and a place to sleep for one night to get into HP early the next morning.

If you just bought express for 5 people for BOTH days, you total would be $500. As you can see, the hotel room would give you a BIG savings IF you were planning on purchasing the express. It always amazes me that people will spend the money to purchase express passes for two or three days, but they think the price of the hotel costs to much so they stay offsite. However, they are spending MORE money doing this. Its always best to look at all the different options :)

You have to remember that if you get a hotel room for one night that allows 2 adults and 3 children for base price. If you have more than 2 adults in a room you will be charged $25 per adult, over the first 2.

Still, even with 5 adults going, that $75 more to the cost of the room does make much difference if they were planning on buying express anyways. The savings is still huge.

We are planning on staying at a WDW DVC resort. Thangs for the answers so far!!

Thanks,

When you visit Islands of Adventure, you must arrive before 9am and then head straight to WWoHP. Then work your way anticlockwise, through Jurassic Park and Toon Lagoon. You may need some time drying off after this little foray. Then if most members of your party like thrill rides, head to Marvel Superhero Island for a ride on Hulk, Spiderman, and Doctor Doom.

I can only really repeat what Badge said, but I hope you get some ideas anyway!

Your welcome! Just keep in mind what I said about express. If you are thinking about buying it to skip all the lines, purchase a night at the hotels to save money. Heck, you don't even have to stay in the room, lol. It just a LOT cheaper to have the room key act as your express than to purchase the express tickets at the parks. Also, the room key lets you ride the same ride over and over again. With the express pass that you purcahse ($50 a day per person), you only get to ride each ride ONCE by skipping the line.
