If you had to pick - which RD would you skip?

I have plans for a TS breakfast one morning before heading to the parks. Gonna still try to make rope drop but if you had to choose, which park would you think would be the best to skip RD at or maybe arrive 30 minutes late at? Do you think it matters?

I would skip EPCOT rope drop if I had to choose. If you could chose your FP+ rides for later in the AM or PM, then you wouldn't have to worry about lines for the headliners.

We like to ride TT singles lines, FP+ Soarin, FP+ Mission Space and FP+ Malestrom.

If you were staying offsite, would that change your choice? Since I can't make FP+ ahead of time anyway...

AK was the only park we didn't rope drop last month. We were able to do everything with minimal waits, no FP+ either (saved them for hopping to MK).

If you are going to stay all day at AK, I would skip rope drop there. I have heard that crowds drop dramatically after the afternoon parade, and there is plenty of things to do in the morning while its more crowded that don't require waiting in a line (animal trails, planet watch, larger shows, ect).

I would still chose EPCOT for non-rope drop day. This is the park that we go to on our arrival day. I would make your FP+ pics on arrival.

I would say it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're not trying to do any hot new thing somewhere (e.g., Mine Train probably when it opens or ETWB at MK) or you don't want a particular headliner, that would impact it. For example, if no one in my party wanted to ride Everest, I would pick AK. Or if you didn't care about TSMM, then maybe DHS.

If you could skip Epcot as long as you got FP for Soarin and TT. I would also skip AK RD.

You can't FP Soarin and TT anymore-- you have to pick 1 or the other. Even if you are onsite, it is now very important to get to rope drop at EPCOT if you want to ride both without a huge line since you can only FP one of them. Plus, staying offsite, you have to go to a kiosk when you get to the park to try to get even one of those. As such, no way would I skip EPCOT rope drop nowadays.

I definitely agree that AK rope drop is the one to skip. Unless we have a breakfast ADR at Tusker House, we hardly ever get there before 9:30. EE is pretty easy to single rider line in the afternoon if you don't get a FP, and Safari usually isn't bad yet that early unless you are there on a really crowded day.

AK, I'm not planning to get there until 2-ish on a recommended day, and think I will get everything done I want done if I stay until close.

If you want to ride both Soarin' and TT, I would make it to Epcot for RD.

I would most likely skip AK's rope drop. We did AK as the second park (arrived probably about 4 or so and had very little waits (even in spring break season last year). We did DHS that morning so we could hit TSMM first thing, went back to the hotel for lunch, then went to AK.

Animal Kingdom-but it depends on the day. Since you're offsite be sure to pick parks that don't have Extra Magic Morning hours.

If you have EMH, especially at one of the non-Disney branded resorts (e.g. Hilton), is it definitely worth taking advantage of them regardless of which park? In our case, the first day AK has EMH and the second day MK has it.
