If you had to go in April

Friends of mine are planning a trip for April 2014.

I thought that the first or second week would be best since Easter is later in the month. She's concerned with spring break crowds. Which would be better?

Stay away from Easter week on either side. It is SO crowded and hard to enjoy everything IMO.

When we were tied to the school calendar our spring break was always the last week of April. We went to WDW many years during that time frame and found the weather to be wonderful the crowds light to moderate. For 2014 our break would start the week of April 28th and continue into the 1st week of May.

Looking on www.easywdw.com, Josh has the second week of April (5-12 Sat to Sat) as lower than the first week. Once the 13th hits...its all 10's, then a few 9's

We went this year and for some reason our kids didn't have their vacation the week following Easter, their vacation was the week after. It worked out I think since most schools have break that week so by the time we got there the following week it wasn't too bad. MK was somewhat insane here and there but manageable. Have fun!
