What would be the last one? What pin would you keep over all your others?

I was having lunch today with a few DISer's who where traveling through NH and this came up as a topic.

I would have to say my HM Dangle would be my last pin. I have thought of selling it over the years but everytime I do I remember the fun times I had getting the pins I needed to trade for it. I flew to WDW twice (with Vince) and even ran for a pin... I think this pin will be with me for a long long time.

Next would have been the Media Mickey from DL as that was the first really hard to trade for pin I went after....

So how about it... What would yours be?

My first DL pin would probably be my last to go...
the DL 35th Anniversary Castle - I love it, but
I cannot get it off my letterman's jacket...
I superglued the post on the pin, I kept losing
stuff off my jacket in high school!

Either that OR the 'D' map pin from DL in 2000
that seemed the hardest to get for a long time...

or my 45th DL anniversary blue balloon pin...
that was the first to get me started in trading...

This one is really really tough to decide!~
I think it would have to be something from 2000...but not sure which one...yet....let me think on it!

It would come down to these 2 pins. DA Tourist Stitch and DA PINS Tourist Stitch

Would probably keep 17900, the 2002 Journey Into Imagination With Figment Opening Team. Although not CMs, the pin was "awarded" to to us by a senior Imagineer for our work in helping lead the push to get Figment brought back.

By the way, did you know there is a large tribute to Friends of Figment in the atraction?

No!!! Where???? I've seen the references to Dreamfinder.

I have 2 pins that it would come down to. The first would be the Continuing the Tradition pin I received in 2001 by Scoop Sanderson. At that time I had no idea what that pin was and to have Scoop give that pin to me and to Lauri was a great honor and a lot of fun. But the one pin I would never give up no matter what is a rubber Goofy pin that I got in 2001 while at the pin event. It was the first pin that Trina ever traded and although she felt bad because she later learned it was a bad trade for a pin that was supposed to be non-tradeable (she got it from a cast member's lanyard), she traded it because she knew that I liked Goofy. That pin means a lot to me because it shows the love Trina has for me. She is not really interested in pins but she is interested in things that I like to do so she's willing to put up with my obsession just so we can share time together. Funny, how the most important pin in my collection is not even one that is valid for trading. I guess I am not really a pin collector but more of an experience or story collector.

I think I'd have to go with sentimental value, but even so, I don't know if I could get it down to less than these three (not necessarily in this order):

-- Pin 4080: WDW - Continuing the Tradition 2001 (Mickey & Goofy) ~ Given to me by one of my earliest pinpals, Darlene (Mickey7811).

-- Pin 4938: Animal Kingdom - Club Rhino (CTT) ~ My DS#2 Josh (DieHardDonald) traded to get me this pin as a surprise.

-- Pin 4133: Walt Disney World Yacht & Beach Club Honeymoon Boxed Pin ~ DH Malcolm (EeyoreHisOwnSelf), with the help of a Y&B CM . . . and a little pixie dust . . . gave me this pin as part of our WDW 20th Wedding Anniversary trip.

When you enter Figment's house the window's valance, in upside-down lettering, says: "Welcome Friends of Figment".

Jeff in the end that is all we all are.

Mine would have to be Pin 3742: WDW - Inauguration 2001 (Seal of the President)
It was my first important pin and my husband bought it for me. I've had many offers for trades but it'll stay with me.

It would be hard, a toss between HM Dangle or Master Gracey.
