If you had to choose....

between All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, All-Star Movies, or Pop-Century - which would you choose and why?

I am under the impression they are all the same - but maybe some of you Dis'ers know some little tid-bits that would make a difference!

I'm probably somewhat prejudiced, because I've actually only stayed at PC, but I did visit ASMo as a guest of a guest. I love the theme at PC, it's a new"er" resort, and it doesn't share buses. Lake view is nice, and you can see Epcot's fireworks from that side of the resort. I'm really hoping the Legendary years open sometime this century, because I'm very curious how they'll turn out! Anyway, my vote would be for PC, JMHO.

What's your group like?

If you have kids, I'd vote ASMo or Pop. I haven't stayed at Pop yet, but Music is my favorite of the All Stars. I just like the atmosphere better, but kids seem to prefer Movies. Pop also has the newness going for it, so any of the three is a good choice!

I have only stayed at a value resort once. That is back in 1999 when we stayed at All Star Sports for a cheerleading competition my daughter was in at Wide World of Sports. My vote would probably be for Pop Century simply because it is newer and it does not share its buses with the other three value resorts, which might help you get a seat. As far as similarities, well I think the values are all pretty much the same room layout and size, except for the icons outside and how they are painted.

Well, no kids in my group - just myself, DH, my two brothers (24 and 21) and my parents. But lots of "kids at heart" !

I like the idea of Pop having their own buses - and the fact that it is newer! Maybe that is where we will go!

I'd say Pop for probably the silliest reason out there. They have frozen coke / icees in the food court and you can get this in your refillable mug. I know that sounds silly but this is a HUGE deal for my kids and that little thing would be the deal breaker for us if we were picking a value resort.

According to Mouseforless.com, Pop Century has a smaller tax rate (11.5% vs. 13%) than the All Stars.
