If you had only one day to spend at AKL?

What would you do?
We are spending one night at AKL after comming of the Magic and before we check in at BWV. We will arrive arond 10 AM and are not doing the parks that day.
How do we plan our AKL day? Please AKL experts, we need your help.

You are going to love this resort.!
Hmm checking in at 10am..........
There are nice tours of the resort you can take, about the fabulous artwork there, I am not sure what time they are though... do some checking on this though - it seems there is almost almost something going on!
storytelling around the firepit in the evening...
also a "cultural safari " is offered in the evening...
Hidden Mickey hunt (get clue sheet from the front desk)
nightvision goggles to see the animals at night out on Arusha rock...
Of course check out the animals on each of the savannahs...
spend time in the hottubs and at the pool....
Get a pina colada at the pool bar & run over to the Mara to get a zebra cake sampler to snack on with it......
Have dinner at Boma (if you're not tired of buffets already) or Jiko (if you feel like a fantastic fancy dinner).
Both offer truly wonderful dining experiences.....
Relax on your balcony at different times throughout the day and evening to watch the animals....

And these are just a few of the things that pop into my head!
It's a great resort. Plenty to do on "no park days"!

To add to the above, visit with the great CM's out around the animals who love to tell you about their country. Enjoy the wonderful hot tub and eat till you hmmmmmm, at BOMA or JIKO.

order up the romantic dinner from private dining...have it set out on my balcony...drink wine...eat yummy food...watch the animals...and enjoy the wonderful amenities this truly marvelous deluxe has to offer! That is saying I would have previously done what both posters said before me...but I would do the dinner on my savannah view balcony!

I lived on my balcony when we were there exactly a month ago! It was truly a coming home experience for me and it was my first stay at the AKL!

Get up early in the morning, get a cup of coffee, go out on your balcony and enjoy all the animal activity!

We spent one night at AKL during our last trip to Disney, checked in early and never left the lodge. It was WONDERFUL!!!

Have a wonderful breakfast at Boma the next morning with the french pressed coffee

Try to get a Savannah room and watch the animals
