If you had a bad stay at a resort, have you gone back and given it another chance?

I despise the Contemporary. I couldn't hate it more than I do. But because I love my kids, I went a couple more times after I hated it. Done with it now, though.

Had a terrible experience at BWI and won't go back. Didn't love it to begin with, so no hardship not staying there.

I see no reason to go somewhere I didn't like when there are so many places I do like.

If you don't like the Poly, go somewhere else!

I've never had a bad experience with any of the resorts at Disney. I may not have liked my location especially at the larger resorts. Only one minor problem at AK and the concierge got it straightened out right away.

I can only say over-all the staff have always been wonderful. I understand it can be a long and sometimes difficult day when you are dealing with the public. I always found when you treat the staff with respect, (the way you expect to be treated) things seem to go a lot smoother. There will always be that exception but as of yet I have not encounted it.

Has everything always gone smoothly and have I always been pleased. No! I don't let it get me upset and usually the problem is correctable.

We didnt enjoy Pop - had a lot of issues with the hotel. Im not prepared to give it a second chance, because apart from the issues re: service and mousekeeping, we just didnt like the hotel.

I think you know how I feel! After what you experienced at the Poly I would not go back there. I have given resorts second chances, but have transferred in the middle of my trip to my favorite resort!!!! I found that to be a hassles, a worthwile one, but still a hassle.
I know this is a short trip, give it a shot if you really want to. I can see you not being very happy. Let me know what you decide!!
