Oh...that was so beautiful! Here I am lusting over Jon Bon Jovi (shh...don't tell my DH!) & was going to list something incorporating him in one of my wishes & then you slapped me in the face (of reality) with such beautiful wishes! I have to agree with your wishes & hope for the same!

The only catch is that each wish must be something for YOU. None of the Miss America wish stuff...this one is just for you and you alone. You can be totally selfish for once. What would you wish for?

In no particular order:

1. That everyone I’ve ever known is/will be with God.
2. That everyone I don’t know is/will be with God.
3. That I would always think, say and do what is pleasing to God.

And yes, those are “just for [me]” wishes.

I have hope for #3 to come true someday.

As for #1 and #2... I’m just wishing.

Aw, thanks, Mishetta! I work with the elderly and often when hearing their story they tell me how they lost their spouse after 52, 55, 58 years, often with a tear in their eye. I tell them how blessed they were to have that much time with them, and that I often pray that I, too, will have 50 + years with my dear husband.
