I would actually wish for.....No pollution.
Yeah, I know it sound weird but, think about it. Hundreds of people's lives would be saved each year because they'd breathe cleaner air. People would probably live longer.
No Global Warming. It would solve a great number of problems.
I would wish for that.....or to find my one true love in life. My biggest fear is going through life alone and unloved. I know I'd always have my blood-relatives but, it just isn't the same. So yeah.
It's at the point where global warming is irriversable. I dont' care if everyone in the world stopped polluting and went back to living like the indians, the earth would still get warmer, hence moving twards an ice age.
To explain it better, the earth goes through cycles. We get colder, then warmer, then colder, then warmer. We went through a mini-ice age a few hundred years ago, that lasted up into the 1800's. Now we are on the way to warmer temperatures. Sure all the smog and pollution isn't helping, but basically what is happening is that the earth is getting warmer by it'self, and we are just helping it along. And this getting warmer means we are getting closer to an ice age. Sound strange? Well it kind of is. Let me explain that.
This is a basic diagram of the ocean currents in the atlantic ocean. Blue for cold water, red for warm water. Now as you can see, it all starts off down near the southern tip of South America, and Antartica, goes up to the equater, over to around Florida, then over to Europe. These current's speed depends on how much salt is in the water. If the water has a lot of salt in it, that means the water is moving fast. If there isn't a lot of salt in the water, the water goes slow.
Antartica is a huge mass of frozen fresh water. If you don't know, fresh water means no salt is in it. Well, as the earth gets warmer, Antartica melts, and puts more fresh water into the currents. More fresh water in the currents means less salt. Less salt means they don't move as fast, and even may sometimes stop. If the currents slows down enough or stops, that means that warm water isn't getting circulated. This means that the oceanic temperatures drop, thus meaning the air temperatures drop, thus throwing us into an ice age. How do we get out? Dont' ask me. Never learned that.
