Truly this is not a debate please dont make it into one. PLEASE

Im just curious what denominations are repesented here.
Thanks

Im Nazarene by birth (lol) I have gone to a few other denominations but have come back home to the Nazarene Church.

So what Church do you attend?

Roman Catholic.

I was lapsed for years and went back last year because I wanted my son to attend parochial school.

Turns out that returning to the Church is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. :D

I love our Parish and my fellow parishoners very much. I never enjoyed my religion the way I have in this year, and praise God for working in such mysterious ways to bring me back.

Roman Catholic.

Our church was once in the Guinness Book for being the only Roman Catholic Church in America without any stairs going into it. Honestly, I don't know how the rain stays out since it is at ground level.

I just wish the Pope would wise up and let women be priests and let priests get married. Then, I think the Catholic faith would be perfect.;)

My favorite church to attend is Our Lady of the Hole in One (denomination: Disciples of Golf). Otherwise, I attend a catholic church.

I'm an atheist so I don't go to church for myself, but occasionally I tag along with my husband and son who attend a nondenominational Christian church. They like having me along, and the minister is an excellent speaker.

I'm a Christian, currently Methodist flavored.

Eros: Wasn't there a sit-com about your church in the late 70's? ;)

Methodist...My dh was catholic but converted last March to the Methodist church.

My husband is a Druid, I suppose if I call myself anything it's a Kitchen Witch.

We attended Chruch with the Unitarian Universalists for a short time and enjoyed the feeling of their services, however we didn't like the temporary minister was at the local church at all. So, we stopped going.

Church of Christ. A dunk tank???? Do you mean a baptistry? If so, we do.

I was baptized Episcobal (sp?) and converted to Presbyterian after DH and I got married.

I was raised in the UCC (United Church of Christ) and DH was raised Baptist. We currently attend a small non-denominational church. We meet in a local private school for services, but are currently constructing a building of our own. And yes, it will have a dunk tank!

Born & raised Roman Catholic... after many years of different beliefs (and non-beliefs of sorts) I came back on my own.

Episcopalian here. I tend to be pretty liberal and I like it because it seems to preach tolerance and I don't feel a sense of shame or guilt.

I posted a poll several months ago with a similar topic, but it seems to have fallen into the CB abyss. My family attends The United Methodist Church of Macedonia. Both Sue and I were raised in that particular protestant denomination. My dad is a retired UM pastor (although he un-retired recently for about the 4th time). If I can find the poll, I'll post a link to it.
