I had prime rib (my 1st time ever trying it) at Boma last year. I was surprised they offered it it in med. rare and med. well as most places only offer it in med. rare (which is why i never had it before), BUT since they had med. well I tried it. OMG it melted inmy mouth. I am filet mignon girl, but this was excellent. Not spicy at all. It was juicy..no fat at all, fork tender. I can't wait to go back. Boma is not a "spicy" restaurant like say a mexican place. It's not spicy hot. It does have spices, but different ones and more sweet. DH and I are Prilosec a day people as our stomachs are VERY sensitive to spices and coffee (which landed us on the Prilosec in the first place), we tolerated everything well. I didn't like everything they had, but there is so much to choose from you and everyone else will find several things you like. My then 9 yo DD and 2 yo DD liked it too (they tried the peanut rice, boboti, prime rib, etc. so they didn't have the normal kids fare). If you don't like it then just don't go back again, but you'll never know unless you try it!
