Since you will be at OKW, try to get your accomodations on the South Point side and take the walkway to DTD. Then take the pontoon boat back to OKW. We sometimes just do that for a relaxing evening. We have met some interesting folks on the pontoon. One trip we ran into an whole blind family and their guide dogs on the pontoon! We had so much fun chatting with them, we walked them back to their unit!

Oh yes, you could also go to ALL of the minigolf courses around WDW and play a round at each. My DS and I like to do that, but DH isn't too thrilled with that one!

As a fellow dip, I think I can safely say that your dippy friend most likely wouldn't consider the tours as something new and adventurous, and the next time I see her at one of the "I'm a Dip and Proud of it" meetings, I'm going to tell her to watch for the Hidden Mickey trick. Dips have to stick together you know.

LOL! I've been know to start conga lines down the que to PoC...singing the 'YoHo' song!...you could buy a pirates hat in the gift shop....and maybe a couple handfuls of "jewels" to give out to the reluctent buckaroos!

Elaine, I'm afraid of heights, too. Trust me, parasailing is wonderful! It's not scary at all (maybe because it's over water). It's not a thrill ride, you just feel like you're floating. And you can set up a signal with the guys on the boat to pull you in if you're afraid. I did it twice one trip, and the second time I took my camera up and took pictures because it wasn't even scary enough to have to hold on.

Or you could go tubing on Bay Lake. That's a lot of fun and they go FAST!

My favorite thing to do is win stuffed animals on the Boardwalk in the evening and then hand them out to little kids who aren't having any luck winning their own. I also buy little toys ahead of time and hand them out when I'm walking around the park.

Give a little rubber bouncy ball to a CM and watch them play with it. I gave 3 to a CM from the Haunted Mansion and he started juggling!

Ah crud! This really stinks.... I can't lie!!!! I've done the sharks & I've done the watermouse (more than once on both accounts). I may suggest the watermouse to my friend, but it won't be new and exciting. And so my dip twit friend won't count that if she won't count the tours

WDWLVR, thanks for all that info. I will have to look into that a little more. That all sounds very interesting and even if I can't get it into this trip, I will have to look into it for the future.

Marsha, you are terrible Do you know how hard it is not to laugh out loud like that at work?? The real campfire is one I did do as a kid though.

Diane, thanks for those suggestions. I will have to tell my friend about the location part at OKW and see how she feels. Would she request that before we check in or just ask at check in?

grinningghost, I have actually thought about that many many times. The only thing that holds me back is the cost. Some day on a longer trip when I have the money I am going to do that one. It looks so cool to me!

Now GP, you have a great idea there as well! I'm all about doing silly things.

Put Put (but time would limit it to one course)

Starting own Pre-show activities

Cool things but cost/time could be a factor:
Parasailing & tubing (cost)
Surfing lesson (can't find anything about it for cost and would have to pay to get in to TL on top of it)
Adopting families/friends to take with
waiting to get picked for Indiana Jones show (more of a time thing)
Petty Driving Experience (cost)
Winning toys for kids (would go broke trying to win a single toy )

Campfire (my first trip! camping at Ft Wilderness)

skinny dipping (not sure I'd ever be able to do that one, but it sure made me laugh)

Along the same vein....when you ride TMRR or SM .... try to the people around you to hold their arms over their heads....while the ride vehicle is going UP a grade....that looks harious too!

...as far as the cm's go....tailor your gag to the attraction....like when I get off Snow White's Adventure....I always try to have an apple I buy off the fruit carts....and offer it to them...tell 'em someone "inside" gave it too you!
