If you could work in DLR, where would you want to work?

I would want to be a CM as a Jungle Cruise Captain. I already know their jokes and think it would be so much fun :)

Resort President, not that I feel George is doing a bad job. Being involved in more long term and transitional planning is something I enjoy.

I don't think I would qualify for the President job, but that would be nice.

I would probably want to work in one of the clothing stores, one of the food carts or one of the quick service dining locations.

I’d be a Haunted Mansion CM in a heartbeat! I would get to experience my most favorite ride at Disneyland all the time! I would never get tired of it. On my breaks I would jump on a doom buggy and just ride around and around LOL!

Holiday decorator or character handler!

PHXscuba

p.s. Worst job: directing traffic for parades/Fantasmic/fireworks

I would LOVE to be a character!! Probably Minnie. Or Daisy if she was ever out for meet & greets.

On the other side, I'd love to be involved in DLR's Marketing department. I just got my degree in Marketing so maybe someday in the future I can do it :thumbsup2

Whew, I just don't think I could handle working in those costumes, they look so stifling...Plus I know I would be smacking little kids left and right by accident and ruining their whole DL experience. :lmao:

I would like to be a handler or maybe direct traffic. Something where I can be "bossy" and not let people run all over me. Either that or work in the office.

I would want to make candy either on Main Street, Pooh's Corner or maybe Marceline's. But i'm not sure about that one, because i would be in DTD not DL.

I think it'd be fun to be a tour guide on either one of the guided tours or one of the plaid people that helps out celebrities/people who pay lots of money.

I can't believe I forgot about the tour guides. That would be in my dream Disney job list as well.

I would like to be an steam engine driver on the DLRR or a monorail pilot.

I'm going to school for my engineering degree, I would LOVE to be an Imaginear. To be able to imagine/create/build/maintain something, and because of that "something" others would have a fantastic time would make me very happy.

I would love to work at the Front Desk of the Grand Californian! I would meet so many exciting guests that are checking in! Maybe even some celebrities and their kiddos!

I think so! I'm pretty short, about 5'1. I know they want those characters to be short.
I actually met a Minnie once that was shorter than me

4'11"-5'1" Abby Mallard, Francis, Gadget, Roger Rabbit, Teddy Bears

5'0"-5'2" Abby Mallard, Bashful, Darkwing Duck, Fiddler Pig, Fifer Pig, Georgette, Goliath, Grumpy, Hugo, Jojo, Kit Cloudkicker, Koda, Kuzco, Lampwick, Laverne, Maid Marian, Max, Mike, Jungle Book Monkeys, Perla, Pete, Pooh, Practical Pig, Quasimodo, Robin Hood, Roll, Scrooge McDuck, Sleepy, Sneezy, Stanley, Suzy, Teddy Bears, Terk, Thumper, Timon, Tuck, White Rabbit, Zowie

I think it got cut off but Chip and Dale are aroudn this hieght too.

At WDW character performers start at $9/hr, the handlers $7.75. I hope they are better at DLR.
