If you could start any business...what would it be?

I would LOVE to own and operate a scrapbooking and rubber stamp store!!!! I literally have to travel over an hour away in order to go to one. There is literally NOTHING around in my area. We used to have a VERY small one right down the road here but they closed a quite few years ago. So now, I have to order my stuff online most of the time. I mean, you can only get so many supplies at Michael's. LOL

I would have a ton of merchandise, a couple photo kiosks for my customers to print out photos if need be and a couple rooms to hold classes and crops.
I would hold contests were customers could submit some of their layouts and other customers would judge them. Then the winners would win gift cards or merchandise from the store.

We only have like 4 stores in this state and they're all towards the middle to the western side so we REALLY need something like this on this side of the state!!!

Lol...this is true! I work for a wine distributor & while things slowed a little at the beginning of this economic mess - what really happened is people just started drinking cheaper stuff!

On the original topic - I am trying to start a cupcake & coffee shop! Started a while ago testing out different recipes and such, just this week registered for a 7-week baking & decorating class. Have no idea how we are going to do it financially, but we're trying

If you really want freedom make it an internet business. We manufacture and sell products that my wife invented. All the sales are done through her website. We don't even publish a phone number.

We work at home, set our own hours, travel whenever we want, and the USPS comes right to our door to pick up shipments. It couldn't get much better!

You've talked about this before..and I'm curious-what is the product?
