If you could spend a day with anyone who would it be?

Dead-Elvis when he was the hot military Elvis.

Alive- my grandma, I had to move 900 miles away from her and she is my everything and I miss her a lot right now... just a few more weeks till I visit her!!

Paula Deen is also high on my list, but I'm scared meeting her might tranish how I have her made up in my mind...

I am lucky enough to still have my parents and most of my grandparents. So, I don't want to sound silly but I would LOVE to spend the day with Walt Disney in Disney World (I would love to see how he would react to all he inspired)

Gos was my first choice as well, but then I thought "Well I'll be with him when my time on earth is through. Plus he's with me everyday, so back to the drawing board." :goodvibes

If I had to pick one person, and even though I spend everyday with this person, I would still pick my DW. She's the love of my life and I couldn't really see me spending anytime without her.

Could not have said it better, but my day would go to my husband, he helps me in the physical, and God covers the rest:worship::goodvibes

My dad, he passed away when I was 7. He was a really interesting man. He fought in WWII in France. I would love to hear the stories. My mom had scores of love letters from him while away and I remember her burning them in our fireplace one day. I was too young to really understand the loss of what she did, but now it just makes me heartbroken not to have them.

My husband. He passed away two years ago and I miss him more than words can ever express. :sad1:

Lots of people...
my grandfather Guy - knew him but he died when I was a teenager
my grandfather "Pappy" - barely remember him, he died when I was a toddler
both my grandmothers
John Farr (an ancestor) - I'd love to ask him "WHERE are your parents, where did you grow up, do you have any siblings?!?"
Jesus
Abraham Lincoln

lots of people...

agnes!

Oh, that's a good one :thumbsup2 I think he would be one of my top choices as well.

It would also love to spend a day with my grandparents, I only met my grandfather once and my grandmother three times as they lived in Germany. My grandfather refused to fly to Canada. I would have to bone up on my German though.

Oprah has changed and gotten too full of herself in recent years. My pick would be Maya Angelou, Oprah's mentor through all the years she was growing & becoming strong.

Or Tina Turner. The more time I spend women in the 20's - 30's, and all the things they think are so important at the time, that turn out to be a spec in time, the more I realize, I would love to have a strong, wise elder woman that I can talk to and learn from her wisdom.

I can't imagine two stronger women.

Yes, but he could have given us a better owner's manual or road map to negotiate our journey while we are here. :upsidedow

I've met Tina and Maya, and YES, they are wonderful. I have not met Oprah and I'd like to get that interview before I die.

I didn't realize that we could add the unliving, in that case I'd like to meet my grandfather, Richard. He died before I was born and I just found a picture of him, the first time I'd ever seen him. He was a gorgeous, strong looking man and I would've loved to get to know him. I'd also tell him he had 14 of the most INCREDIBLE children, but I'm sure he already knows that because 13 of them are in heaven with him! :littleangel:

I would not want a day with my Mom and and son... because I couldn't bare losing them again

I would rather wait to be with them forEVER.:cloud9:

Mark Wahlberg (without a shirt of course). If he's not available, then sigh, I guess it would be Jane Austin. I've recently become re-obsessed with her writings.

Excluding family members; Dead: Ronald Reagan. Alive, President Bush and Laura. Rush Limbaugh would also be entertaining.

Grandpa John. And of course if he comes, then Grandma Hazel will be by his side. I doubt he'd let her leave his side again after all of those years of being apart.

My father. He passed away 10-4-08 and my toy poodle, she passed away 11-21-09. I miss them both terribly.

My mother....
I would want to be with her the 24 hours before she passed away. I wasn't there when she passed away after a long illness.
