If you had the opportunity to spend an entire day with anyone in the world who would it be and why?

I'll start if off, I would like to spend a day with Og Mandino. Why, He is my favorite author.

Dead or alive?

If dead I would say my dad. He died when I was 17.

And if alive, am I married at the time?

If dead I would say it would be a tie between my Dad and my Nanny. If now I would say my Mom. ;)

I don't have an answer but that is a good question I'm going to roll over in my head for a while.

Off the cuff I can't decide if I'd like to spend the day with someone I could learn from, which would be enlightening and probably boring, or someone who I would find immensely entertaining. Would I go the moral high ground and hang with someone who likes to THINK about life or go with someone who revels in the human experience and actually LIVES life? Everyone is so docile, am I the only one contemplating a day with a live wire like OZZY or Shirley McClain would be a hoot?

My great, great grandfather, who was a slave. I would love to know how he survived and my great-aunt. She was a professional bridge player during the 20's. we have black & white photos of her traveling the world entering tournaments. astonishing for a women.

My choice would be my Dad. It's been so long I can't even imagine what it would be like anymore but I know it would be wonderful! :goodvibes

God, I have a really long list of questions :goodvibes

Ronald Reagan. The man intrigues me, always did.

Gos was my first choice as well, but then I thought "Well I'll be with him when my time on earth is through. Plus he's with me everyday, so back to the drawing board." :goodvibes

If I had to pick one person, and even though I spend everyday with this person, I would still pick my DW. She's the love of my life and I couldn't really see me spending anytime without her.

Oprah has changed and gotten too full of herself in recent years. My pick would be Maya Angelou, Oprah's mentor through all the years she was growing & becoming strong.

Or Tina Turner. The more time I spend women in the 20's - 30's, and all the things they think are so important at the time, that turn out to be a spec in time, the more I realize, I would love to have a strong, wise elder woman that I can talk to and learn from her wisdom.

I can't imagine two stronger women.

Yes, but he could have given us a better owner's manual or road map to negotiate our journey while we are here. :upsidedow

My husband. And in a month I get to!
