If you could only pick one "extra" event which one would you pick and why?
It is me and my 16 year old (developmentally delayed) grandson:

Pirates & Pals
Mickeys BBQ
Hoop De Doo Review

or something else entirely.

Assuming your DGS has no issues with boats, water, loud noises, etc, that would prevent him from fully enjoying everything offered at each?

My pick is Pirates and Pals
Followed by HDDR
I'm not a fan of the BBQ

I've never done the BBQ, but it has certainly struck my curiosity. The Hoop De Doo Review is at my top of the list though. Yet, you have a 16 year old so the Pirates and Pals would certainly be awesome. So, pretty much I have thrown my opinion in here without answering your question lol.

We rented SeaRaycers at Poly and loved it. I don't know if that's an option (it's not food), but it was fun. 2 people fit in a boat and you can go all over Bay Lake & Seven Seas Lagoon. It's roughly $50/hour but they charge you when you come back in 5 minute increments. Literally we were charged for 55 minutes instead of an hour. An hour was plenty of time, you can do much shorter if you want. My kids are 12 & 14.
