I'm going with my bf for the weekend, a short trip since we have 1 day left on our 4 day pass hopper. We wont have much time while we're there but i'd like to make a reservation for atleast one fancy meal.

Last time in August, we went to 50s Prime Time, Kona Kafe, Yak & Yeti, and Hoop De Doo. We've also been to Artist Point, Yakitori House, & Cinderella's Royal Table. We loved them all & would definitely recommend those. It's tempting not to go back again to one of them.

So we are looking for something new, something fun (we're in our 20s) with good food. We like all types of food.

I have thought of some top choices so far, but would like some new ideas too.
1- Le Cellier
2- California Grill
3- Coral Reef

What else would you recommend??

have to be in the parks... bluezoo would be a pick for a fancy dinner. It is expensive, though. But we went last May and our food was delish...

Also - not as "fancy" atmosphere-wise, but also really yummy (and a tad romantic, as far as the grounds go) was Narcoosee's at the GF. The stroll from the GF down to Narcoosees is really pretty, and watching the fireworks from the deck at narcoosees is really special.

If you want to eat in a park, LeCel was good when we went (2006) - but gets mixed marks. Thinking of trying it again in 09 when we go back to the World.

SanAngel is nice as far as atmosphere goes, but when we went the food was really sub-par. Unless it has turned around, I wouldn't go back.

I really like Coral Reef, the salad and soup are so yummy and the mahi is awesome! The setting is so nice too because it is such a neat restaurant and it is kinda dark and potentially romantic. That is my pick!

I would go to California Grill or Coral Reef, love the food and had a very good time at both.

Don't waste your only park day eating at a TS. Eat CS that day and I would suggest one of the following for a TS....

Kona Cafe
Jiko
Boma
Flying Fish
California Grill
or REALLY splurge and go to Victoria and Alberts!!!

3 of my favorites, Le Cellier is very very loud but hte food is great. Can't enough of that Cheese Soup. California Grill is very good and not as loud as Le Cellier! Another of two of my favorites not on your list is the Yachtmens Steakhouse and Jiko.

Have a great time no matter where you decide to go!

My DH and I love Teppan Edo. We eat there everytime we go and it is fun and the food is wonderful.

Citricos (GF)
Nine Dragons (EPCOT)
Narcoosees (GF)
Kona Cafe Sushi Bar (Poly)

These recently got rave reviews on the DIS Unplugged.

I really like Boma (AKL) and The Wave (CR). (The Wave also got a rave review on the DIS Unplugged.)

Teppan Edo
Brown Derby
Coral Reef

But I would do the other 2 before Coral Reef. While it was nice it was not my top pick. The food is wonderful but the other 2 are oustanding.
