Okay.....this is inspired from the Santa Clause 2 movie where they are at the school faculty party and then Surprise, secret santa gifts.....all vintage toys......so, if you could pick one toy from your childhood to receive as a gift what would it be?



I have several in mind but can't pin point my favorite yet. I'll post back.

So please share......what's your one toy you wish you had again or something you always wanted but didn't get.

My Mrs. Beasley doll. My mom gave her, and my other cherished childhood collection, my Trixie Beldon books, away when I moved out of the house. I'd love to get them back.

I knew my mom couldn't afford things when I was growing up but I really wanted an easy bake oven.

Flash forward to about 10 years ago and we were shopping somewhere and I said "Oh, I always wanted one of these growing up!" She asked me why I never asked for it....I explained that I knew we/Santa couldn't afford something like that. Imagine my joy when I opened that box on Christmas morning.

Great choice! I had her friend Velvet & I'm so sad I gave her to my cousin -- who cut her hair!!!!! I've thought so many times how much fun my girls would have had w/ that doll when they were little.

I Loved this toy so much!!! I was the only person I knew who had it and my sister and I still talk about it. I even told my husband if he ever found one on e-bay I would love to have it for my girls to play with (and me too.) The other toy I would love again is my Wonder Woman action figure with her lasso and her invisible (clear plastic) plane.

I'd love to have my Barbie collection from when I was little. I think my mom liked it as much as I did, so she bought me EVERYTHING haha.. I had a big pink dollhouse, a pink car, a cruise ship, a ton of furniture for the house.. it was so much fun! I still have some of the "collectible" stuff, but I think the rest was given away.

BTW, I saw that the Thingmaker Creepy Crawler bug makers were available. My brother in about 1966-67 had one. He was an entrepeneur in 3rd grade selling the bugs at recess. When I saw this, I had to order it for him as a Christmas surprise!
