You can pick any job at the Disney parks and hotels, which would you pick!!

I would love to be GOOFY , I am over qualified for the job already!!
my son wants to be the talking trashcan operator!!:lmao:

One of the PPP's. I know DD would pick HM in a heartbeat. I bet DS would either pick Monsters' Laugh Floor or ST. DH would probably pick quality control on MDE since he is an app guy - and he prefers to not be seen.

Wife could only work at HM- she can't be nice all the time...

As for me... not sure.... something that calls for positive interaction....

Probably a job with the Themed Lighting Group within Imagineering.

I would like to be an Internal Auditor reporting directly to George Kalogridis, President of the Walt Disney World Resort. I would get my instructions directly from him and report back directly. When not on an assignment I would wander through the Parks and Resorts as a Guest, talking to Cast and Guests and making suggestions to George to improve both the Guest experience and the Cast Member's positions.

One time in a previous auditor position I had occasion to talk to a high level executive where I worked. He had seen, in a report that I had written, indication that a procedure he had set up hindered proper work. He told me that I was the first person in several years who had said something like that; people who worked for him tended to "protect" him from such comments and he thanked me for letting him know he was not perfect.

But since I can't get such a job (especially part time) I will just keep doing tickets and Guest Services at Typhoon Lagoon.

That's pretty funny about the wife, I bet it is hard for any CM to stay in a good mood all the time , especially with the heat and crowds!

I've always thought it would be fun to operate one of the resort boats from MK. Or maybe a front desk CM at GF. :goodvibes

:rotfl:

DH is relaxed in a lawn chair as I type looking at WDW job openings on his iPad. He would like to pilot water craft on Bay Lake. I, of course, would be his first mate!:thumbsup2

Now, if only the kids were finished with college....:cloud9:

I would like to be a Jungle Cruise skipper so I can make corny jokes every day! Or work at Soarin' because I love the costume and the music there.

Bring back YOAMD.

I wanna be on the Dream Squad! :cool1:

I'd definitely want to work at Disneyland. I would love to be a parade dancer, Belle, or operate Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (Peter Pan could work too) :goodvibes

Ooo, or Captain EO! I could boogie to MJ all day long

I have heard the jungle boat job is one of the harder ones in MK !!

I had a teacher in high school that was a skipper on the Jungle Cruise during the summer and he LOVED it!

As for me, I would want to work in the Christmas decorating department. My 2 favorite things rolled into one!

I really can't decide between the Fairy Godmother, or Dolly Drew from Hoop Dee Doo. I'm leaning towards Dolly; I'm sure the pay is a little better over at Pioneer Hall. :rotfl:

any CM's out there? I would love to know which jobs there are considered the best ones at the parks / resorts ! Are there certain ones that are hard as HECK to get into?:wave2:

When I don't have to be a grown up anymore-my goal is to work at the popcorn wagon on Main Street just by City Hall. I could sell my favorite food but better yet-see the wonder on all the faces as they step into the park-especially the first time guests.

I'd love to be friends with Rapunzel or a bellhop at the ToT (which is ironic because I'm terrified of that ride)! Being friends with Dolly Drew at the Hoop de Doo, a Main Street trolley dancer, or Dory in Finding Nemo The Musical would be awesome too!

I've always wanted to be a behind-the-scenes CM doing store displays and windows. :goodvibes
