Soo we are looking for breakfast ideas!

I love Ohana's and we are doing it November but for May we want to do something different. There is my b/f,23 and me,20. We have done Kona's together as well. I have also done Spoodles. Soooo where is your favorite and why!?!

We are totally up for a character meal if need be however would like to avoid the princess' thanks!!!

We never miss doing the Crystal Palace for breakfast at the Magic Kingdom. First, I love Pooh and friends, and second I love the puffed french toast.

Also, if you can get an ADR for 8:00 a.m. (and not on an Extra Magic Morning day) you basically have Main Street to yourself for some great shots of the castle without thousands of people in the background.

'Ohana was our favorite breakfast on this trip. We also enjoyed Chef Mickey's (can't get more "Disney" than that!) and Crystal Palace (try and get a 8:00 ADR...it's worth it to be inside MK before it opens!). 1900 Park Fare was OK. Boma was pretty good.

Boma! We have to have it every trip. They have a very good selection-the typical breakfast stuff and some unique dishes. The Frunch juice is really good. I'm kind of picky, but I love it. Plus I just love the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We'll be there in 5 days. I can't wait!

Boma, it is hands down the best breakfast at WDW

Tusker House has an incredible breakfast buffet and the characters are great.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

For a couple, I do not recommend Tusker House.

We were there in early May and chose Tusker House because DH's favorite character is Donald and I wanted to make sure he saw him. Because we were a couple with no children, we were treated like second class citizens. Our waiter didn't introduce himself because he was busy with his tables with children. A couple of characters skipped our table all together. I left the restaraunt crying I was so upset because I wanted this to be a special meal for DH. I am not saying we deserved special treatment, but we deserved to be treated like everyone else. I will say I am now very hesitant to return there. I know it was just one waiter and one experience, but if I can prevent another couple from having that experience I will!

With that said, every other place we've visited on Disney property has been wonderful. We had great service and great food. Our favorite is probably Crystal Palace as I love Tigger and DH loves Eeyore. For a non-character breakfast, we are fans of Whispering Canyon Cafe. The food is delicious and we love the waitstaff's antics! We eat breakfast here on the last day of our vacation before leaving for the airport.

Good luck and have fun!

Yup, PP is right for a good breakfast avoid a character meal and dine in a resort. I think some of the better ones are Boma, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe, Spoodles and Captain's Grille.

DH and I are not Breakfast Buffet people...We're just not the kind of people that can eat a big breakfast and not feel ill walking around the parks all day.

That being said, we found out on our last trip that Earl of Sandwich in DTD serves breakfast! It was excellent! One yummy sandwich and we were good until lunch! :thumbsup2

Thank you everyone for your ideas! I am surprised to find Boma's on the list. we are doing dinner there in November and will be staying at AKV in May so it would be easy to walk down and go. We will definitely look at the menu.

I hate to hear what happened at Tusker House. I have done that breakfast twice just when it was at the other location so we probably would not do that anyways, but thanks for the tip...This past May we did Crystal Palace for dinner and the characters stopped at our table but we had to basically force them to do a picture with us you kind of got the impression they wanted to just pass by and get to the children. If adults do a character meal they should get the same treatment, definitely agree!

After everything people said we are thinking Boma's, Chef Mickey's(never ever done this), or Spoodles.

I am surprised by this. My DH and I have been doing for years and the characters have always taken time for pictures. We were a group of four adults this year and they all stoped by and were patient as we did photos with both couples. Tigger even came back when they sang to us for our celebration.

Tusker House has my vote! I love it and Donald is my favorite character so that's a plus! The food is great at the Donald's Breakfast!
Hope this helps!

We love Chef Mickey's, Kona, Ohana's , Akerhaus has the best potatoes. I have never gone without the kiddos though. That's terrible that one poster was treated differently than kids. I would have told the manager.

I am surprised to hear you had a hard time at Crystal Palace. When we've had a meal there, the characters were more than accomodating. Tigger and Pooh practically knocked me down (not an easy feet since I am a Pooh Sized girl!) with hugs and let us take as many pictures as we wanted. It just goes to show that some CMs are better than others and you can get a not so great one anywhere.

I think Boma and Chef Mickeys are good choices. I've never been to either but want to try both. As I said before..have fun and please do report back so other childless couples know how your experience went! :)

Yea I have ate at CP twice, one with my parents and sister and once just Nick and I. Once was fine, and this past time eeyore and piglet were great, tigger was the only who wanted to really pass by. We would of course eat there again, sometimes things will be better then others it happens everywhere and much less at Disney. The review link of Boma's above is amazing I think we might end up there since it will be right at our resort and we are not the most morning people thanks everyone!!

Ditto, the kids and the adults really enjoyed the food and Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Donald.

Also, we had a very lovely breakfast at the Grand FLoridian, one leisurely morning!

and at OKW, Olivia's breakfast potatoes are to die for!
