If you could go anytime when?

I love visiting the parks in September. The crowds are low and the weather is nice. It's kind of the calm before the storm, when all the Fall & Winter activities and events take place at the parks.

Plus it's value season the first part of the month.

We go during slower times- our favorites are:

November- anytime except Thanksgiving week. Great weather- high 70s during the day, mid 60s at night. Crowds vary from very low to the low end of moderate. Food & Wine Festival the first half of the month, MVMCP and holiday decorations starting the second week. Free dining available most of the month.

October- the last week. The first 2 weeks are still hot and humid, and the crowds have really picked up in recent years. Halloween week is better- crowds drop off, weather cools down, and the MNSSHP and Food & Wine are going on.

January through mid February- low crowds, low prices. Weather can be nice, or you can freeze your tushie off. Attractions can be closed for rehabs.

May- except Memorial weekend. Moderate crowds. Very warm, but not as humid as summer/early fall. Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot.

We haven't been during December (DH works on retail, so no vacation days allowed then), but we have heard the first 3 weeks are a good time to go- low crowds, MVMCP, all the Christmas events and decorations are in full swing. Weather is usually pretty nice during the day, but can get chilly at night.

Our last trip was in mid-September. I loved it, the crowds were low and I didn't find the heat unbearable. I've been a couple times in January, and found it a little cooler weather wise than I prefer.

We're taking a trip this year during my first choice of time, the second week of November. I've never been during the holiday season and I'm excited that we'll get to experience the events and decorations in the parks, but we'll also overlap with the end of the Food & Wine Festival (which I've never been to). I've heard the weather is usually nice, and I'm hoping the crowds won't be too bad.

Free dining was a nice bonus for our fall trips too.

I am so undecided. I have it down to my October or November dates. At this point it's trying to guess which will be less crowded. Over 10 days we will prolly see crowds a few days on both. The December date I listed I'm worried weather will not allow us to swim. We typically go 1st week in January. They say the marathon does not have an affect on it. I tend to disagree. I thought it was pretty crowded most of the trip. I know I'm going to disney and I need to get over the crowd thing. There will always be crowds. Just trying to pick the best week as my kids don't have to worry about missing school right now. Thanks for the help everyone.
