If you could choose one chain restaurant to be inside Disney, which would it be?

I would choose Cheesecake Factory!

None. If I want to eat at a chain restaurant, I'll go off property. I expect something different at Disney.

Why people would travel to eat at exactly the same places they have at home :confused3:confused3:confused3

If I'm traveling (WDW or elsewhere) I want to experience something out of the ordinary offerings that I have at home.

I agree, I wouldn't want a chain in Disney. That's one of the things that makes it so special. If they had chain restaurants, you might as well stay home ! I'd much rather eat w/ Princesses and The Fab 5 and the rest of the gangs while I'm at Disney .... ;)

I probably wouldn't eat at a chain restaurant while in Disney, but my favorite is Cheesecake Factory.

What do you call Rainforest Cafe?? Thats a chain inside of Disney. Don't they even have 2 restaurants in there????

I agree when I go to Disney the last thing I want is a chain restaurant I can get at home.

So is T-Rex. And Planet Hollywood. And House of Blues. And Bongo's. And Wolfgang Puck. The list goes on.

And we refuse to go to any of them, just because we CAN go at home. I'm OK with some of the non-Disney owned restaurants (loved Yak & Yeti, which I believe belongs to Landry's) because it does not exist anywhere else.

I agree with all of the PP's. If I want to eat at a chain, I can get that at home. I want something unique and special to Disney while I dine there.

Besides, Disney is slowing making their food more homogenized anyway. No need to speed up the process by bringing in more chains.

Depends on what you mean by "inside of Disney." For most guests that means inside a theme park. All these restaurants are at Downtown Disney, which is not inside a park and only one restaurant there is Disney-operated anyway. I am pretty sure nobody is objecting to chains at Downtown Disney - they just don't want to see them inside the parks. There's a Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom...but it's not inside the park. Yak & Yeti and Via Napoli may be the closest thing to chains inside the parks.

Disney used to contract with Cheesecake Factory to run the food service inside Disney Quest, but that association has been over for awhile now.

Would have to know if the OP meant chain restaurants inside the parks or at DTD or resorts before objecting. There are likely to be MORE chain outlets opening at DTD, because Disney doesn't want to operate anything new there itself.

From reading your subsequent posts on this thread I know you understand that there are already chain restaurants on property - are you asking for ideas on additional offerings inside the parks?

I couldnt agree with you more!!! I keep thinking the same thing. You have the most unique restaurants at Disney, yet you still have ppl going off site to eat. Why????? You can eat at those places when you return home. Makes no sense to me. :confused3

I wouldn't want any chain restaurants inside the parks...DTD is fine though.

I would like to see a Tim Hortons whether it's at Downtown Disney or in the Canadian Paviliion in Epcot for some decent coffee:lmao:

None. And I wish there were fewer there now in DTD. I want original when I come to Disney.

Starbucks! I always get cranky at WDW and I know it is from lack of my daily dose

I agree with PF Changs at DTD.
