I'd want to be a wedding planner, pastry chef or wedding cake decorator at WDW. And someday, I will be! DH and I are DEFINITELY retiring in Orlando, unless of course we move there before that. We've talked about it, but just bought a home in NJ, so it's not likely we'll be making a big move in the near future.
I've always wanted to be one of the parade wranglers. You know who I'm talking about - the guys (and gals) with walk-talkies walking the parade route before and during the parade, making sure it goes off without a hitch.
Those folks always fascinated me, I don't know why. I don't even know what their official job title is, or what they do when not conducting the parade. But if I had that job, I'd insist on being called a "parade wrangler."
I would say I'd want to be one of the Disney Cruise Line greeters at the Orlando airport. I always get a special thrill when I come out of those gates and see those big Mickey hands waving. It's a feeling like I get to just stop trying for a week or so, and let the Mouse do all the work. I think I'd really get a kick out of seeing people's faces go from "grr, stupid airplane flight " to "Oh, holy cow, I'm at Disney!! ".
I would work in Guest Relations in Epcot. This is my least favorite park, and I figure working here wouldn't ruin the magic for me so much, but I'd still be able to make Disney my life. Plus, I'd want to run the segway tours. We did one on our last trip and it was one of the most days of our whole trip! And the girl who ran it said that she worked in Guest Relations in Epcot the rest of the time... she also gives private tours to the rich and famous who go there. Thats the job for me!!
I wouldn't want to be a CM at all. It would take a lot of the "magic" away from my WDW experience. I like to feel like a special guest whenever I visit. The CM at Disney are part of the magic IMO. I'd rather just be a spectator.
I'd love to work at Castaway Cay or, as weird as it may sound, I'd love to do maintenance during off hours. I think it would be neat to be in the parks when no one else is around. Plus you would not have to deal with the heat.
I'd like to drive one of the safari vehicles @ KS in AK or work out at Rafiki's Planet Watch and teach the kids about animals and conservation. Of course, working @ POTC would be tempting just so I could wear pirate gear
I would have to say either an event/ wedding planer or a waitress at the 50's Prime Time cafe... I would love to tell someone else to get there elbows off the table
I'd take just about anything, but the Haunted Mansion or Pirates would have to be my first choice.
Especially the Haunted Mansion!! I would love to see that place with the lights on. How cool would it be to be the one to yell, "Drag your wretched bodies to the dead center of the room!!!"
i think the coolest thing for me would be to be a special cm who is a consultant for 1st time guests. i love talking about wdw and some of my friends at school even roll their eyes at me when i start but i don't care. i think the happiest place on earth should be shared with everyone as much as i can. so the idea of doing that with people on their first trip is really appealing. i think when i retire from teaching i may try to get wdw to create that position for me. don't y'all think that would be great?

I'd like to work at any attraction or restaurant where I could interact in a funny, improvisational way with the guests. Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, character meals, working as the Mad Hatter, etc
I would love to be the CM giving the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK or any of the tours at MK for that matter because most of the people that do those really have a love for Disney or want to know more about Disney
