how long did it take to get into the system and make a ressie?

I know how long it CAN take but I was just wondering how long it actually DID take. I thought I read a few days ago that someone was in the system two days after closing.

I just closed today and I need to make a January reservation.

I just closed at the beginning of August and it took nearly 2 weeks for my new contract to show up at MS.

When we closed on another resale earlier this year, I think it was March, it took one week. Maybe yours will be like our first one.

We closed the first week in June, 3 days later MS said we were in the system and we checked into SSR at the end of June!!!!

Once you close, do YOU have to call (and call, and call...) to see if you're in the system, or do they call you? We'll be there in the end of October. If we're not in the system when we leave, is there somewhere specific we can go while we're there to find out? We're staying at AKV.

We received an email from the TSS on Wednesday (August 20) saying that we were closed, not sure exactly which day we closed. Called Friday morning-nothing, Friday afternoon-we had a member number, no points yet. Saturday morning still no points. Saturday afternoon points available, able to make a reservation and log onto the DVC website.

With both of our resale purchases, we were not called or notified in anyway that we were in the MS system. I just called periodically myself. PM if you need the number. I don't know the rules about posting it here.

We should be closing this week and I was also wondering how long it would take us to get into the system. I'm hoping to change our October reservation to use points......not sure if it will happen. If we can't change our reservation, looks like we'll just have to go back

We closed Wed. also and I called Sat. morning. The MS person said that we were not yet in the system. I am going to call back tomorrow and check.

I called back this afternoon and now we ARE in the system!!!! WOOHOO!!! I booked my first trip home for Jan. ...........
