I hate that sound of smacking gum - ick ick ick. If people can hear it across the room, you're too loud.

I also hate it when people smack their food while eating, or weird mouth sounds in general. Nasty. Blech.

Almost worse than the snacking is the popping! A lady was continuously popping her gum the last time I went to the library and it made my skin crawl. I had to leave!!!

Loud gum chewing is annoying, but what is even worse IMO is that food orgasm noise. Can't you just say the food is good instead of making those noises?

I know everyone has pet peeves... but this is by far #1 on my list as well!
