For our upcoming trip in November we are talking my 13YO's best friend with us. It is her first trip to WDW FL although she has been to DL once. Dining for November is terrible, we were getting nothing for a party of 5. Well as of today things definitely looked up for us! I was able, after calling almost daily for over a week, to score 'Ohana, our family tradition, by splitting tables for 5:20. We had Cape May, which I moved to Sunday. On Saturday we now have Sci FI for lunch and 1900 PF for dinner (so she can see some characters). I'm happy now!

keep trying is definately the key, it took me weeks to get into 1900 Fare for my DD's birthday and the Tusker House character breakfast was booked soild for the week I wanted (free dining) but just this week I was finally able to get into Tusker House and I thought that one was just hopeless!

The dining situation really irks me now. It used to be you were able to walk in or bok that morning and get decent places and times. Now you are expected to book 180 days out or "nothing is available". we are last minute, go a couple of times a year folks. At the most we generally book around 100 days out and this is what we are now facing. Moral is, be diligent!

I see what you are saying. We were recently commenting on since the dining plan is becoming so popular it is so difficult to get seating when you could practically walk in before.

I remember walking up to Le Cellier (back when it was good) and 'Ohana (back when they served lo mein) and being seated. Even Chef Mickeys was easy.

Well, I booked my ADRs at 180 days out just like I was told to do............THEN the airlines changed my flight times and now I am missing our dinner at Park Fare................I have been calling daily to try and get something later, but we are going during Thanksgiving week and there is just nothing left!

Keep trying, or if need be and your party members are old enough do what we did and split into two parties. A booking CM suggested that to me for PF (our guest has never been to WDW, trying to make it memorable for her), we split up and were able to get 4:55 for two tables. She said they try to put you close together.
