If you can't get a room ... there is hope!

I have my parents booked for 2 nights at the Wilderness Lodge at the end of March. Because it will be a crowded time, we decided to add 1 extra night to help make the trip a little more relaxing for them (they are joining us for part of our Spring Break trip). I have been calling Disney daily for the past week to try to add that last day but the lodge is FULL (except for a 2 bedroom in the villas - aack!)! I have also been trying online at wdw.com, travelocity and expedia. Well, today, I added Orbitz to the mix and they had a room! I was so excited! I know they will have to switch rooms - but, I'm so relieved to have that last detail taken care of!

Anyway, I would have never tried the other booking sites if I hadn't read the suggestion on the Disboards. So, thanks!

Is the room from Orbitz in the same resort? You may not have to change rooms. You can probably call Disney and have them "connect" the rooms in their system.

BTW, I do think you gave up too soon for CRO to come up with something, but that's beside the point.

Yes, the Orbitz room is the same resort.

I hadn't really "given up" with CRO. I was planning to call every morning until something opened up (b/c I figured something would become available - esp closer to the date) - but, I feel so much better knowing that they have a room now.

Hmmm ... I thought that Orbitz charged a $25 cancellation fee. That's why I thought you had given up on CRO.
