If you book with AAA and get dining plan

How much of a discount do you get?? For instance, we are a family of 5, two adults, a 15 year old, and twins (9). Currently we are booked with two rooms at ASMo for next August, just room only. But having the dining plan this past September, I really think I don't want to go w/o it. So, I'm thinking of maybe staying at PORiverside from 8/26-9/2 with the dining plan with a 1 day base ticket...what would you think the cost would be with AAA?

I can't give you an answer for how much you will pay. It depends on what season your travel dates fall within. AAA discount is a percentage off of the room rate.

I can give you my example. AAA saved me $186 off of disney's price for a package with hoppers and dining for 2a & 1c, 6 nights @ CSR Feb 1-7, 2006.

AAA discount for mods in value season is 20%. If it wouldn't be a problem to change your dates by a day you wouldn't have to worry about checking in and out when the seasons change.

We're going in regular season and our discount is only about 5%.

AAA would give you 20% off the room rate only during value season at a moderate (which over 7 nights would be about $200...not great, but not bad either)....the dining plan would be the same price and you would get a couple of bucks off tickets with the AAA price.... so you would probably save a couple hundred over booking direct with Disney.

Just a thought but what about booking THRU AAA (instead of getting AAA room rate through Disney). I believe you can get the AAA rate off the room and then also get the Disney plan if you book a package through AAA

Yep! You can, that's what we did.

That is what I did! I saved over $200 compared to disney's prices!

Good, I'm glad that I'm dishing out correct info! I plan on doing this myself for my next trip. My only problem right now is that my local AAA webpage only has DisneyLAND vacations not Disney World vacations (which is weird since I'm in Mass) so looks like I'm going to actually call them for a quote...I so prefer getting info online at my leisure!
