Just a reminder for anyone going to Disneyland soon....
My family went on a ride, and I could not ride with my 2 year old because he's not tall enough. He and I rode Buzz, and then headed over to Fantasy Land.
I noticed a few teens with Dream Fastpasses around their necks. One said to another, "Dude, it's like a PRIZE!". Sure enough, there was the dream team behind them, standing at the entrance to the castle handing out Dream Fastpasses. DS and I were each given one, and I asked the CM about the rest of my family who were on a ride. She said, in quite a rude tone, "They have to BE HERE to win a prize."
Nearly in tears, I walked around trying to figure out how I was going to split two fastpasses between four kids. I remembered someone here posting that what the CM told me was not true. There was another CM walking by, so I asked him about it. He was very nice. He told me that they would never split up a family, and to explain what happened at City Hall.
Sure enough, at City Hall, they gave Dream Fastpasses to the rest of my family! We had to show the Dream passes, and tell them when and where everyone was (and the double checked the times). If I had listened to the Dream Team CM, we may have just given them away.
Maybe they don't want to announce it, but she could have asked me to step aside for a minute and explained what to do when the crowd was not around.
